For extra credit this weekend I watched the movie the cherry-red Letter. The movie was set in 1660s in the Massachusetts unwrap colony. It started by with the Puritans and Algonquin making a truce. The truce though was very unconfident though which makes me think that the truce will break. The ground makes Metacomet the new leader after the death of his father Massasoit. Hester Prynne, who in the movie is played by Demi Moore, arrives from England to the new valet. She came to the new innovation looking for independence. She begins to square up in love with Arthur Dimmesdale, who is played by Gary Oldman. After Hester finds out that her married man probably has been killed by Native Americans she pursues her alliance with Arthur. Hester becomes big(predicate) with Arthurs child, yet is imprisoned for her affair. Hester tells Arthur to not tell anyone that he is the father, because she doesnt want to discern him get in trouble. She has her daughter in prison and is force to wear a scarlet earn A for adultery. on the spur of the moment her husband comes backward to the township after beingness missing.

He finds out that Hester is pregnant without him being the father so he goes seeking for Hesters lover, so he can get revenge. Hesters husband attacks and kills a man riding to town from Hesters house. The man was cloaked as an Indian. The commonwealth of the village think that the reason he did this act of cruelty was because of the Indians, so they bring all the Indians to a humanity! show up and judge them. Hesters husband feels bad for being the cause of this and commits suicide. Arthur discovers the organic structure hanging from the ceiling and runs back to town and admits that he is the father. The public decides to hang him for his wrong doings. When Arthur is about to be hung, the Indians saved him which caused a dramatic scene.
